Whenever – Black Eyed Peas (testo, traduzione e video)

Non accenna a spegnersi l’eco di “The beginning”, l’ultimo album della band losangelina Black Eyed Peas uscito poco meno di un anno fa (30 novembre 2010). Esce infatti in questi giorni l’ennesimo singolo estratto dall’album, dal titolo “Whenever”: una ballata romantica, spezzata da un beat dance e impreziosita dalla magica voce di Fergie, che vede come protagonisti due amanti, che pur consapevoli di non potersi più incontrare, si giurano eterno amore.
“Whenever” è il quarto singolo dall’album “The beginning”, dopo i successi di “The Time (Dirty Bit)”, “Just can’t get enough” e “Don’t stop the party”. La band, ancora impegnata in lungo tour promozionale, ha annunciato che si prenderà una pausa al termine di questa serie di concerti.
I Black Eyed Peas dopo un paio di anonimi album pubblicati ad inizio carriera, svoltarono nel 2003 grazie all’ingresso nel gruppo della bellissima cantante Fergie, con la quale realizzarono il loro terzo disco, campione d’incassi, “Elephunk”. Dall’album furono estratti singoli di successo planetario, quali “What is the love?” e “Let’s get retarded”.
