Streets of Surrender: ad un anno dall’attentato di Parigi online il videoclip del brano di Zucchero

È disponibile da ieri, domenica 13 novembre, il videoclip del brano Streets Of Surrender (S.O.S.), il brano di Zucchero scritto a quattro mani con Bono, ispirato e in qualche modo dedicato agli attentati parigini di un anno fa.

Il testo del brano, che annovera la partecipazione di Mark Knopfler alla chitarra, è stato scritto da Bono nei giorni successivi agli attentati di un anno fa a Parigi, e che hanno colpito in modo diretto anche il mondo della musica, con il massacro all’ormai famoso a tutti Bataclan; gli stessi U2 avrebbero dovuto suonare in quel locale qualche giorno dopo. La canzone non è stata però eseguita dalla band, ma è stata regalata a Zucchero, autore della musica, per il suo nuovo album.

“Non dobbiamo mai permettere che l’odio prenda il sopravvento” ha dichiarato Zucchero riguardo a questo brano, definito da Bono un inno contro l’odio e a favore della libertà.
